Please join us for our 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic, Sunday, April 17 from 11 to 2 (come and go) as parents and children play together in this special place. Stations will be set up throughout the park to include storytelling, music with instruments, bead critters, flower planting, hunting for marbles of course, many photo opportunities will be available throughout the park.

Parents, please bring a blanket and picnic lunch for your family and join others for some fun in the sun. Children, bring your favorite teddy bear and a $1 donation for the park. This is a time for children to teach parents the joy of childhood and for the parents to teach children the joy of giving.

 

We are very excited to share we have just started our fifth Glory Babies Support Group in Leesville, La. Our hope is that God will continue to raise up facilitators around the country to help spread the love of Christ to others who are hurting and grieving from the loss of a baby. 

Please mark your calendars for our 5th Year Celebration of The Children's Park Sept 19-20th. A brunch in honor of our Founding Mothers will be Saturday, 10:30 - 12:00 p.m. A reception in honor of all of our donors will be Saturday evening. Then the weekend will conclude with a Children's Teddy Bear Picnic from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. Children are invited to bring their families, a picnic lunch, their favorite teddy bear and a $1 donation for the park as they learn creative ways to play and use their imagination.
